"access denied" message when I click on anything in the control panel

Everytime I click on any icon in the control panel I
get "Acces to speficeed file or path is denied". Also
when I right click my mouse on my desktop and
choose "Properties" it tells me the same thing. Can
anyone help?

Wrong newsgroup - this one is devoted to Microsoft Access, the database
development product.
