Access and BTbroadband

Donald Mackenzie

Since installing Btbroadband modem drivers software, when
I attempt to export a report from Access to Desktop as a
Snapshot Viewer format, my PC crashes with the error
message "msaccess has caused an error in Kernel32.DLL".
This happens on both PC's I have insalled Btbroadband on.
If I export the report to somewhere other than Desktop
(i.e. My Documents) then there is no problem. If I remove
the broadband software, the problem goes away.
I am using MS Access 2000 on Windows ME on both PC's.
BT have assured me that their software has been passed by
Microsoft and that it is fully compatable with Windows ME
and Access.
Any ideas ?

You could uninstall Office then install BTBroadband and ensure all is well.
Then install Office 2000 to see if it is matter of order. It is possible the
installation of BTBroadband replaces a crucial .dll file that Access needs.
