I have a front-end/back-end application which runs fine with access 97.
Front End database is saved as MDE.
Now that some of the users have migrated to XP, the application needs to run
both in access 97 and 2000.
Got an idea that the older version database can be enabled in access 2000.
But does that mean the access 97 MDB which generated the MDE will have to be
enabled for MS 2000 and then saved as MDE? (So that new MDE can be opened in
200 and 97 both ).
What does Enabling actually do in the background ?
