Hi Everyone!

This is my first question on this forum. I have a lady that runs Windows 95
(Yes I know that is unbelievable, but we don't have a software license for
Windows) and she is using Access 97. When she goes in to log onto an
excisting database she gets the following message: Compile Error: Can't
find Project or Library. Can anyone help me or give me some advice on how to
fix this, she has user rights to log onto the database, but gets that error
message everytime.

Check the references first.

You might missing some reference.
Open the mdb, design view, open and view the code, then select tools,
reference and see if anything missing

Thanks for responding, when she selects that particular database to login to,
she gets that message, she can't even get into the database, when she opens
Access 97, she selects that particular database and that is the message that
she receives (Compile Error: Can't find Project or Library), she can't even
open it, but other people here can and she has the same user rights as they
do. I am sorry, I might not be understanding you correctly and I am not real
familiar with Access 97, so any help would be appreciated.

Hold the shift key down while openning the MDB

It's got nothing to do with user rights, it's because something is missing
from her computer. Follow the advice you have been given by the other
responders in order to find out what is missing.
