Access 2K versus Access 2003

I am considering to upgrade my platform to 2003.

If upgrading to Office 2003 should I then also upgrade my
Windows to XP?

I am creating Access applications for distribution based
on the Access Runtime in the Office 2000 Developer
Editions.

If I upgrade to Office 2003 - would the setup be similar?

I believe I once read that in XP you dont need the
Runtime - as it is part of Win XP. What is the 2003-
equivalent to the Access Runtime?

That is not correct. You will need the developer's extensions. A more
