access 2007 subform

i have entered a new field into a subform. originally i could tab from the
last field in my subform into my form and continue on. now that i added the
new field at the end of my subform- when i tab into my main form the
information i entered into my subform disappears. please advice me what i
need to do so that my info stays when i go from subform to form. thanks.

when you added that field; it became the last field of the subform

I believe that when you tab out of it - your subform is progressing to its
next record

probably the simplist thing for you to do - is to put the subform in design
view and change the tab order so that this field is not last..... because
before it worked the way you expected before this field was added....
