Access 2007 - Outlook 2007 - Linking an Access tbl to Outlook Cont

I have successfully and easily linked an Access table to my Outlook Contacts
folder. It synchronizes and works perfectly.

My dilema is that it does not have all the fields that I need. For example
in the Access table there is no Categories field, which there is in the
actual outlook contact book. For some reason it doesn't link that field.

Is there a way to add or delete fields that are linked between the Access DB
and the Oulook Address book?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Joey: I stumbled accross your post. I asked the same question. Re: my
question of august 16 2007, I did get an answer. I too was wondering why
microsoft did not choose to expose the "categories" field and less than half
of the total number of fields when linking to outlook contacts. It was
acknowledged by Tom Wickerath that that is in fact the way it is. He too
didn't know why microsoft choose to link only certain fields. He gave a
possible work around which you might check his post of august 16-17th. I
choose to let it go.good luck.
