Since Access 2002 and Access 2003 both use the same file format, there
shouldn't be a problem.

What's happening when you try to open the database? Do you get an error
message? If so, what it is?

I got a message asking if I wanted to block unsafe expressions. I chose NO.
Then I got a security warning with
information indicating that Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8 must be
installed
in order to block unsafe expressions. The warning message asked if I still
wanted to open the document. I chose YES. The next message that came up
asked
if I still wanted to open the document because the file may not be safe if it
contains code that was intended to harm my computer. I chose OPEN. When I
double clicked on the document name to open it in a table format, I got a
message saying the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource
that
is unavailable.

The second message implies to me that you should do a Microsoft Update to
ensure that you've got all of the latest patches installed.

.... and if you don't install Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8 then simply
don't bother trying to use Access 2003 (IMHO). There really isn't a
workaround for that.

HTH,
