Do not Import in Access 2002 within Import Specification

the Question is
I've also had some problems with the import wizard in
A2K2. For whatever reason now, in the import wizard,
when you click on subsequent columns to highlight them,
any changes I type in (such as applying a field name)
only overwrite column 1. I can have the 3rd column
highlighted, any change I apply still goes to only column
one. The only way I've been able to use it is to import
the file and then change the table layout. Wish I knew
the answer . I wish there was a hot fix for this . I am
running with access 2002 sp3.

I believe the SP broke the wizard.
MS is aware of it and is addressing it in the next SP.

What I do is skip to the last page and manually fill it in the grid.
Then I save the Spec as usual and use it.
No need to import the bad names and fix the tables.
