Access 2002 Back To Access 2000

I am probably on a loser here. I have an application that is written in
Access 2002 with the Tables Database on a server and the Application
Database on a PC and linked to the tables.

I have been asked to make the Application database available on a PC that is
running Access 2000 and there is no chance of upgrading the PC to Access
2002.

Is there any way to take the Application database down to Access 2000. I
thought about opening an Access 2000 database and then importing the forms
from the 2002 version but all I get is that the database is a later format
and a message to go buy a later version. I also tried cutting the table
from one and pasting into the other but that failed too.

Any suggestions please?

With the database open:

Tools >>> Database Utilities >>> Convert database >>> Access 2000 format.

Many, many thanks. I should have tried that but the message about updating
to a later version made me assume it could not be that simple.

Oops. I spoke too soon. The database has converted to Access 2000 and if
opened in Access 2000 runs fine displaying all the forms, controls etc.
However, if you open it in Design mode nothing is visible. It looks like a
new database with no tables, no form, no queries - nothing. And yet they
must be there for it to run. Even curiouser, because I have not relinked
the tables from the main database it crashed and offered Debug which
immediately opened the window containing my VBA code, but still no sign of
the form from whence it came. I am now really puzzled.

Thanks Arvin, you've done it again. Everything now across and in place.
Isn't it amazing the way things never quite go as expected.
