Access 2000 placing OLE objects in Table for viewing in Reports

I have a Table with defined cells as OLE Objects with the purpose of linking
to a *.bmp image.

Initially all was working fine and when I browsed to place the image the
cell would get filled with "Bitmap Image".

What is happening now is that instead of "Bitmap Image", I get "Package".
Now when I do a print preview of the Report, instead of displaying the image
it displays a Paint icon with the file name I'm trying to display.

How can I fix this? What did I do to cause this so I don't do it in the
future?

You probably installed an application which is not an OLE server but took
over the file association of *.bmp. You may be able to fix it if you can
re-associate bmp files with their original application (look on another
machine that works to find out what that is). If not, you may have to
un-install the newer application.

Thanks ! It so happens that this is exactly what probably happened. In
order to display the *.bmp files I used a different application to convert
the .TIF to .BMP and in the process the association changed... Thanks!!
