Access 2000 database locked...

One database...I cannot open it by double click, by going to Access and open.
I cannot repair or compact...I cannot import tables from it into a new DB.

The error is always "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process
because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the
same time"

I have seen previous posts, but I am hoping for a miracle...and to be a
miracle worker as they realized they haven't been getting good backups for
over 6 months now with BackupExec!

Have you tried JetComp.exe?

I did try this...same message. I don't think I will have much luck...

Gives me an opportunity to get some good backup software in there!
