Access 2000 and Windows 2003 Server

I have an application that has been running on a Windows 2000 Server to
create data to be sent to users in the event of a network problem. This
Access 2000 database has been running for years. Recently, we moved it to a
Windows 2003 Server and all of a sudden we are getting "Function is not
available in expressions in query expression". Both machines have Office
2000 pro and are using the same references, but with some date differences on
the reference files. I am not real familar with Access 2000 running on a
Windows 2003 server. Any ideas? Help would be appreciated.

So you're saying that there are no references marked as MISSING:?

Try selecting an additional reference at random, backing out of the dialog,
then going back in and unselecting the reference you just added. This will
sometimes fix the references by refreshing the collection.

If that doesn't solve the problem, try to unselect as many of the selected
references as you can (Access may not let you unselect them all), back out
of the dialog, then go back in and reselect the references you just
unselected. (NOTE: write down what the references are before you delete
them, because they'll be in a different order when you go back in!)

Doug,

I was just checking some things out and found that the ActiveX reference was
for 2.1. I changed it to 2.8 and now it is working.

Thanks for your input.
