Accept Changes

[Gen Hem]

I am unable to accept changes in a document sent to me via email. Have tried
resaving it on my hard drive, copy/pasting, etc... nothing works ... document
does not look like it is protected. Any ideas?

This is just a guess, but are you absolutely sure that the changes are
actually tracked? I occasionally have a customer send me a document that
LOOKS like it has tracked changes in it, but they've really just formatted
new text in one color and formatted deleted text in a different color with
strikeout. I had one a couple of weeks ago that really had me going for a
while -- until I realized I was dealing with a computer-challenged person.

Let me suggest too that the section you're trying to edit may be protected.

In addition, there are third-party apps (one is called DeltaView, I believe)
that (I am told) mark up documents in this infuriatingly permanent way.
