my cd/dvd roms have disappeared and obviously i can't reinstall the cd's that
came with my computer. when i check under hardware-device manager, under
dvd/cd-rom drives it shows a yellow circle with a ! inside it next to both
devices. if i double click on either one it tells me that windows has
successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the
hardware device with a code 41 out to the side.
the device type for the dvd/cd rom is _nec dvd+rw nd-1100a
and for the other one it is liteon dvd-rom ltd163
I don't know how to fix the problem. can anyone help at all!
