About Outlook Doesn't Close

For what version of Outlook and mail account type? Note that not every
software is exposed as an add-in since they merely launch the outlook.exe
process like sync and fax software.
 
I use office 2003 and run pop3 and imap mail account, i have a plam to sync
the outlook but i try to exit the plam software and nod32 first then close
the Outlook, but the process also doesn't close.

Make sure you disconnect your mobile device as well.
When you start your computer does the outlook.exe process show up as well
after some minutes even when you haven't manually started Outlook?
