About blank keeps reappearing

I have run full scans and blocked the homepage hyjack of
about blank, but it keeps returning each time I open explorer.

Also how do I get rid of the sites which appear on my
favorites list? I've deleted and they keep coming back.

Anyone have any suggestins?

The MS spyware killer beta should only be one tool in
your anti-spyware arsenal, along with Ad Aware, Spy
Sweeper, and (with *extreme* caution) HijackThis. MS's
beta finds a lot of spyware, but fibs when it says some
have been removed (including the infamous TIBS Dialer, my
most recent nemesis).

Google is very useful for finding ways to remove spyware.
For example, based on your post I searched
for "about:blank spyware remove" and received several
useful hits. The solutions require going into the
registry (insert dramatic music here), so if that
intimidates you, you might want to find a trustworthy
geek to help you out. About:blank is a pesky mofo, so
good luck.

There are many version of about:blank out there.
Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save then Open it and select the SCAN AND SAVE LOG option.

Note where you save the log and then send it to me. I
will be glad to look at it, identify the version
and tell you what to do to get rid of it for good.
