Aborted scandisk

Hi people, I ave a problem with two of the partition of the hard disk: since
a couple of months starting my laptop a blue screen say: "The volume C and F
need a scandisk, you can abort it bat is better to proceed; Scandisk aborted.
It's useless to try it manually, because for "C" it say that the files are in
use and ask if you want to program scandisk at next restart, but even if you
say yes at next restart the same message aborted appear. For "F" even if you
do it from My Compuer/propertys/instruments the message reappear, or doing it
from MSdos prompt it will say chkdsk executed without the parameter "F:|". I
try to get help from Microsoft online as I have done it past year, but now it
say that for my license number I have to contact the producer, but Asus isn't
listed among the brands, so it is impossible. Now the computer crash totallly
whyle plaing games or only explorer or firefox whan connected. My only chance
is to reinstall continuosly an old Norton Ghost copy, but every time I have
to reinstall all the upgrades, mail messages or programs. I hope somebody
will help me, as Microsoft do not.

You may have a defective hard drive, or one that is going bad. Download the
appropriate test program from the hard drive manufacturer to test their
drive. If the test show that the drive is failing or bad - replace it.

Microsoft is not going to help you with a hard drive problem. The drive
manufacturer will.
