able to receive not send while away from home base

we are wireless away from home and can receive but not send through outlook.
This is a pain to have to go online to roadrunner and send a message!! Any
help for a novice is appreciated.

My guess is that your outgoing mail server (SMTP) is Roadrunner and,
as with most ISPs, it won't let you send mail through it when you're
not connected to their network, which you would not be if you're away
from home and using WiFi somewhere. You might check with Roadrunner to
see if they allow you to connect to the SMTP server in authenticated
mode, as some ISPs do to allow off-network use.

As you are no longer local to your provider, you'll need to authenticate
yourself with them before you are able to use their mail server for outgoing
mails.

went to question 36 followed directions. Got to select my outgoing SMTP
requires authentication what do I check in that box:
1. same settings as incoming mail
2 log on using login and password
3. log on to incoming mail server before sending mail
