A8N-SLI won't post

Had a power outage the other day while the computer was running. Now I
can't get it to post. The green stand-by light on the motherboard is
lit, but absolutely nothing happens when I try to power up (no fans,
lights, nothing).

Are there any tests I can do to determine if the power supply is
damaged, or if the A8N-SLI is? I'd like to find the defective part and
replace.

Things I've tried so far:

1) Changed the CMOS battery - no difference

2) Cleared CMOS - no difference

3) Unplugged power to most drives and sound card and tried to boot - no
difference

I'm guessing something on the mobo is fried but shouldn't the hard
drives at least power up if power is available?

Any tests I can try would be appreciated.

When you power up, is the fan running on the power supply? I know you said
no fans but you didn't specify what fans exactly...if none are running
including the ps fan then I would try a new ps first. also look for blown
caps on the mb.
