a7v600 unknown device

After installing my new a7v600 (Athlon 2700+, 1GB RAM, Seagate 80G-SATA,
Radeon 9800/512) and Windows XP, the Device Manager shows four items as
"unknown device" and references, among other things, PCI slot 7. I've no
clue what devices might be "unknown." I've installed the VIA 4-in-1 drivers
(as well as all the others-- NIC, sound, etc.). Anybody got a large enough
cluebat to help me out?

Micheal.

Could be USB2 if you don't have XP SP1.

Nope. got SP1. and I forgot to mention these are listed under "other
devices" and so no indication of who, what, when where, or why.

Stumpedly,
Micheal.

If you have no driver, then it's pretty likely that thats where it will end
up... without SP1 you'd have no driver.

If it's on PCI slot 7, it'll be a device that is onboard your motherboard,
but not part of the chipset (I think). Something like a RAID controller,
NIC etc.
