A7V333 vs A7N8X v2

Hi all. I'm a bit of a newbie here, so sorry if I break any nettiquette
rules etc.

Last year I bought a PC with an Asus A7V333 motherboard. Unfortunately,
after a period of diagnosis it has turned out the that board was faulty. So
after getting bored with waiting for responses from my retailer and Asus I
went out and bought an Asus A7N8X v2.0. Now it looks like I may finally be
getting the A7V333 back I am left with the decision of which board to use.

I'm going to be using the board with an Athlon XP 2000+ processor and 512Mb
of PC2700 unbranded DDR (it seems to be OK with the NForce chipset).
Although the A7V seems to have more features on it the A7N (NOT the deluxe
model) seems to have the faster chipset.

So the question is 'Which mb will make the most of my hardware?'

Thanks for any advice

Personally, I think it would depend on if I would utilize the features of the
A7V333 board or if I could live without them. I bought this same board about 14
months ago and am now starting to use the extra features. All 8 USB ports are
active and USB2.0 devices are now being used. I have been experimenting with
IEEE1394 a little. I am happy with my A7V333 board.

From your describe below, it does not look like you are using to sticks of
memory so you cannot take advantage of the Dual Channel Mem. Controller. The
only other thing that I could see you would be missing out on by switch back is
the 8x AGP slot in the A7N8X.
