I have an a7n8x based computer with winxp-pro installed and working fine
right now. I have a WD 60 gig HD as master on one ide channel by itself with
the xp-pro installation, there are two WD 20 gig drives as master and slave
on the other ide channel. I want to add a Plextor dvd
reader\writer(px-708a). I also have a cd reader and cdr writer on
an Adaptec 2940au scsi card. Where is the best place to put the dvd (it's
atapi, udma)? Should I add a sata converter and put it on one of the sata
channels? If so, I don't have any sata enabled or any drivers installed for
it. Can I install the drivers now without making a mess? Thanks in advance
for any help you can offer.
