A7N8X Deluxe

Listonians-

I am having problems with the audio (none) on
the A7N8X Deluxe. I did a clean install of WinXP
and am not getting any audio out of the system.

Anyone running an ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder 8500DV
with this mobo? I have to wonder if there is a conflict
with the drivers between the nVidia nForce audio and
the audio drivers associated with the Radeon.

I have to say that this mobo is the most difficult one I've
hit in quite a while.

Thanks for any thoughts on this are appreciated, might
save me from banging my head on the wall...

Have you enabled the onboard audio in the BIOS? Have you loaded the audio
drivers? I can assure you that there aren't any inherent conflicts between
the nVidia chipset motherboard and an ATI video card.

Shouldn't be. Did it come with a manual?

Tsk. Wouldn't want you to damage a perfectly good wall, eh? <eg>

Doug,

I have your mobo and an ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 pro card. I am also
having all kinds of audio problems with this combo. For one, every
time I click on the TV, I get no sound. I have to go to the NVidia
nForce Control Panal and unmute 'Line-In.' For some reason, turning
on the TV, or the TV Listings, mutes Line-In. I am unable to find
just the audio drivers on the internect, nor on the NVidia site, they
always come in a set that installs other stuff. Also, I have a high
pitched sound from the Aux. Line. So this, I have to keep mute. I'm
in the same boat as you. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.
