A7N8X Deluxe Not Supporting Video Cards Properly

After changing an A7N8X Deluxe motherboard my I've lost support for
something called DDC/CI.

My Mitsubishi monitor comes with a utility called NaViSet
[http://www.necmitsubishi.com/naviset] which lets me set the monitor
controls with higher precision (and much greater ease). This utility
requires video cards be DDC/CI compliant.

My video card was working properly with this utility before installing
the A7N8X Deluxe motherboard. Now the utility reports it can't find a
video card that is DDC/CI compliant. I'm not sure how a motherboard
effects video, but because the only thing that changed was the
motherboard/processor/memory it seems like it has to be the
motherboard.

I have tried another DDC/CI compliant video card and the utility
doesn't recognize it either.

Anyone else had this problem with the A7N8X Deluxe?

Any suggestions?

That first line should read:

"After changing *TO* an A7N8X Deluxe motherboard . . ."

When I tried a search on DDC/CI, this page popped up. If you have an
ATI video card, your problem could be Catalyst driver related.

Thanks for your reply. The page you reverence is a sub page of the
link I gave.

This is an NVIDIA card, not an ATI card. According to the page you
referenced my card is supported and I know is true because the same
card with the same driver was working before I changed mother boards.

Try this:
Go into control panel and then system and hardware and check your video
adapter and see if there are any conflicts. If you see conflicts, you can
try to manually change the addresses. If all is OK here, then go into CMOS
and fiddle with the IRQ settings. Enable the assign IRQ to AGP and see what
happens. You might have to do a repair install of XP, if you change that,
but it might fix it. Just a sugg. Lots of us are using older AGP cards on
A7N8X mobos and they work fine.
