A3 document printing

I have the last version of word and I am trying to print an A3 poster through
my HP Deskjet 1280 (it can print A3). The document has photos, text and some
images created in other programs. My problem is when I preview my document
the pages look blank and that is indeed how they print. Has anyone else
experienced this problem and know what I can try to get my word document to
print?

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, is "Drawing objects" checked?
