That MS is sneaking this crap on to people's computers through Auto
Update as a critical update makes this crap even worse.

What is sad is that out of the few that even know about this, so many
don't see it as a problem at all.

You don't need to install the WGA for now. Also, you can get all
downloads from Kurt Kirsch's website! He has got direct links to all
the updates you need post SP2.

I find it funny that the biggest areas for piracy are China,Russia and India
yet the new WGA download is not offered to people from those places.

Could it because they have Nuclear bombs and use it against MS whenevr
necessary while sensible people in the USA, UK etc won't use it?

lol too shay! I have a genuine windows cd. (given with computer purchase)
however whenever i have to reformat the system (quite often with windows), it
never allows me to automatically register (for f** sake i have to let MS know
that im reformatting my system get off my back!!!) and i have to call up and
get interrogated to get a registration key. Its screwed. MS is screwed and
its even ligit owners like me who get screwed around. Is it worth loosing
paying customers, to annoy those who already dont pay?

Mike, I am as appalled as you are. Having finally almost convinced myself to
obtain the Critical Updates post-SP-1, would you please tell me, if you
know, what is the Update Number of the offending update. I have a legal copy
of Windows and do not wish to invite the MS Police into my computer room,
which also happens to be my bedroom!

Here's hoping you don't have a Webcam.
