a way to remove the user name at the top of the printed page

Someone at my firm apprached me and ask then when an email
is printed, is there any way to remove the user name that
always appears at the top of the printed page (it appears
that the "Memo" style is being used).

I can easily see that a generic header can be added, but
don't see a way to remove the user name that appears in
bold.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any insight.

I can be a little more positive than Diane.

It's not perfect, but the way I get around this is to:
1. Open the message in question.
2. Press Ctrl+A to select all the text in the message.
3. Press Ctrl+C to copy the selected text.
4. Start a new document in Word and press Ctrl+V to paste the selected text.
You can now print unfettered by Outlook's mysterious obsession with user
names.

Other than being slightly cumbersome, the only other drawback is this
doesn't pick up the From, To, CC and Subject text.

I hope this is of use.

You can use Page Setup (from the main Outlook file menu, not from an open
e-mail) to change the font size down to 1 point. The text will still be
there, but you'll need a microscope to read it.

Karlin, thanks for this - it's brilliant.
Only trouble is, it seems to work only for plain text messages.
HTML messages seem to be printed using a different set of preferences.
Other than converting each message to plain text, any ideas how to tame HTML
printing?
Thanks in anticipation.
