a very annoying site

Hey guys and girls

I have a few annoying advertising sites that keeps
popping up randomly while I'm surfing in IE6. The sites
are:

xaso.offeroptimizer.com
xlime.offeroptimizer.com

I've tried spybots, clearing internet cache, antivirus,
and antispams and still hasnt removed. The sites launch
in normal IE windows so the popup blocker doesnt block
them.

Does anyone have any information about these sites? Or
does anyone know how to block certain sites from ever
being accessed? I know there is a way but dont know how.
Your help will be appreciated.

see if putting *.offeroptimizer.com in your restricted sites helps.
In IE - tools - internet options - security - restricted - sites

To protect against a good number of bad sites, install this HOSTS file.
This file is constantly being updated. Check each month for new version.

The best way is to block the server from tracking you in the first place
Blocking Ads with a Hosts File and AdShield. Under the Security Tab download
the hosts.zip file.

Remove any other spyware from your system.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
