A printing problem

Hi - have searched the previous posts, but can't find an answer for my problem.
Am helping a friend with his pc and am very IT literate. When he prints a
longer email from Outlook, all pages print OK except the first page (not just
the header, but all the text that would be on the first page too). Affects
ALL longer emails, not just one. Spent an hour last night trying to fix it -
no apparent problems with Outlook or printer (Lexmark 2500) settings. Tried
uninstalling and reinstalling printer; checked all setup options. Am
completely stumped.

Any help or advice would be MUCH appreciated! Very many thanks.

You failed to mention the issue in your post. What's wrong with the first
page?
Also, which version of Outlook are you using and are you printing a HTML or
Plain Text email?

Hi Roady,
Many thanks for your reply - apologies if I have done the wrong thing. The
friend is using Vista on his PC. The emails are HTML. There doesn't seem to
be anything at all wrong with the first page - it just fails to print. If I
copy and paste the body of the email into Word, it prints just fine. The
problem began a week ago, after no unusual activity on the PC - he's been
using Vista for over a year with no previous problems. It's a mystery to me.
Have checked all printer, page setup, print setup settings - all appears
fine.

Thanks again.

Best wishes,
Roo
