my firewall is giving me signals that Windows Explorer is trying to use
a new DLL file almost every 15 mins. Is this a virus or it is designed
like this?

Long ago I remember using Norton Commander. Is there a win32 compatible
version of non-Microsoft product, which will replace the Explorer?

Without knowing the name of the DLL nobody can tell if it's legitimate.

There must be thousands of Explorer replacements available on the web.

Thank you Sir!
Next time I'm screen-capturing the message.
And I'll do my home-work-search.
