A "manual" search for knowledge

I have used PowerPoint for many years but, based on some of the
comments I find here in the Powerpoint forum, feel I have missed some
really good info.

Where can I find a text and/or website that explains in detail how to
use Powerpoint macros, the Visual Basic Editor, and the Microsoft
Script Editor?

Most text books I find go into excruciating detail about all the other
parts of PowerPoint, but never mention these advanced tools. What is
your favorite reference?
