A hardware (keyboard) question

I don't know where to look for help online with a replacement
Microsoft keyboard I bought, but hopefully someone here can point to
the right place so I can solve a problem I am having.

I use XP Pro and recently purchased a Microsoft Digital Media Pro
model 1031 keyboard. It works fine and does all the things it is
supposed to do.

However, I've noticed since I installed it, my two screen capture
programs no longer work. I have one in CorelDraw called Capture, and
also my PaintShopPro has a screen capture feature. I go through the
process of setting it up, indicating what type of capture I want,
where to save it, and what hot keys to use. The program defaults are
F8 - F10. When I press the hotkey (with the appropriate program open)
nothing happens. These programs worked fine before the new keyboard.

Any suggestions, or places I might find the answer?

Press the F-Lock key?

That's it! I have no idea what that function is, but you better
believe I'll open up the user manual and read it.

Thanks so much.

Well, it locks the function keys. In other words, well F1 is always Help.
But with F Lock pressed then F2 will function according to it's settings,
with it off it will undo. Etc. It also switches between insert and print
screen and pause break and scroll lock. No worries - I know because I almost
sent one back when they first came out because I couldn't press the function
key to install the OS.

A simlar Logitech keyboard bit me. Was working on my sister's PC. Had to
access the bios through a function key so to select boot option from cdrom.
Spent a few minutes then considered the all the options on the keyboard. F
lock did it. Just had an "F" next to an LED indicator.
