A few web pages junp to the front when you don't want them to.

How can you stop this?

I will have 2 or 3 web pages open, and one, (a comics web page)
is always jumping in to be seen before I want it to. I want
it to be in the background until I click on it.

I am using Win XP and IE 6.

Hi,
Some content on that page is refreshing. The workaround is to minimize that
page to the taskbar. That should keep it out of sight until you want to see
it.

Hope this helps,

I have already tried that.

The page still jumps to the front even after I minimize it.

It may have a javascript timer that calls window.focus(). As far as I know
there's no way to disable this without disabling Javascript as a whole or any
way of just disabling specific function calls within IE.

Sorry, I don't know how to keep it minimized. I have seen a minimized window
restore and take focus just because another window was opened.
