A 78 MB email has crashed outlook. I can't delete it, send or rec.

We received a 78 MB email the other day and now Outlook won't send or receive
email. The email in question is in the inbox and I've downloaded it but I
can't delete it. When I try to send or receive I get the following: "error
(0x8004060C): 'Unknown Error 0x8004060C'

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

are you using exchange server? Did you try using shift-delete?
