_Restore folder

Recently, I installed XP over old WinMe. I found a new
folder _Restore on my hardrive with read only hidden
files. This folder takes 1.43GB of the space. I want to
delete it, but I cannot. Could you help?

If this folder is located in the System Volume Information folder, leave it
alone. This is where information for XP's System Restore feature is kept.
