I allready looked into this, and to use ATi's component video adapter you'll
need a screen that uses US standard HDTV component video, and unfortunaty
(so im told) these are different to those adopted in Europe (in UK). I
believe the current line from ATi is that they have no plans for a Euro
verson of this, at this moment in time.

If you do find out to the contrary please let us all know, coz I'll be one
of the first behind you in the Queue.

Thanks
I am not sure if its HDTV or simple component output
which can be configured to be HDTV.
I cant find many details about it apart from the ATI page

If its NON HDTV component then there are quite a few TVs
appearing in the UK with component input and some that except progressive scan

The ATI Component Adapter has switches on it to set the TV resolution--they
correspond to US HDTV resolutions.
