I've been looking for a PCI-E card for a friend and am getting a bit confused . Looking at this page ,

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...jJnBfc3R5bGU9bGlzdCZwX3Byb2R1Y3RzUGVyUGFnZT0m

Which is the better card for the money . The 8600GTS 256MB or the X 1950 Pro 512MB . Or would it be worth finding the few extra pounds for the X 1950 XT 256MB .

I looked at loads of reviews and am still confused and can't tell which is the best card for the money .

Personaly I like the look of the Powercooler X 1950 Pro Extreme 512MB with the fancy Accelero A2 cooler .

Thanks V_R . Looks like the 1950 Pro Extreme is the one we will be going for then . We were a bit worried about power consumption on the 1950 XT and its a bit more expensive and only 256MB but it should give better quality . Hmmmmmm .

X1950s are a cracking deal at the minute.

A year ago you'd have paid £100 for a 6800.
