800 pictures intop access 2002

I have 800 records in my database I have to import a piccie (jpeg) for each
one, when I do access opens paintshop pro imports the piccie and closes
paintshop pro, this takes a long long time. the photos are in a directory on
my pc is there a batch method or a simpler way to import the photos

You should never store images inside the database, this could send your
database over the 2 gig limit very easily and very quickly. Rather store a
link to where the image is stored.

Thanks for the info but even linking I still have to insert each pickie
manually, which I was trying to avoid.
