7 email duplicates at once

I get 7 copies of each email !!! I use Outlook 2000,
McAfee AntiVirus and have Yahoo as my paid ISP. Another
user has the exact same setup that I do and she is not
receiving duplicates.

I tried turning off the AV email scanner option and it
did not help. I have went to Microsoft and updated my
Office and Windows updates. My AV is updated with 'daily
live updates'.

This has been going on for 2 wks and though I research
and research, I am finding no answers.

Is it possible that you have somehow set up filters? I
accidentally set up two filters that were the same and I
got two of every message that I got! Check under organize
and then Rules Wizard....

Follow this guide and your issue should be resolved
I suspect it was a update in the MacAfee protection.
Uninstalling and testing then reinstalling usually fixes it as it tends to
be settings in the email scanning
