So, let's move on to sentence two. Basically this is an odd question.
You don't just by a "64 bit chip". If you really want to run the 64
bit version of XP you have to run it on a system built to support an
Itanium processor. Do you have such a system? Anyway, the 64 bit XP
is separately licensed. Why? Because the publisher spent jillions of
dollars developing it and they want to recover their costs and maybe
make a few bucks as well. As far as I can tell from the MS site this
version of XP is only available from 64bit system manufacturers.
