like the title says i got a £400 budget a need to build a pc could you please rig up a system then show me what u put in it i want it for gaming so need a good gfx card for it what could i get i was thinking of an amd 64 socket 754 but wudnt mind a socket A barton xp.

Only option for that budget is to buy an AMD XP CPU-based machine second hand.
Fortunately, you should be able to pick up one quite easily, as complete used machines don't sell that easily.
