32 Bit computers?

Does anyone know what year they started building the 32 bit PC? Now they are
selling the 64 bit PC which will run 32 bit apps. but will it run 16 bit
apps. Like DOS games?

The 386 was the first 32 bit PC CPU and was introduced in 1985. Yes it
will run 16 bit apps as thats more a function of the OS.
