What about the other "signs" you "need" a new computer? (according to marketing hype)

Your CPU isnt an FX, EE or dual-core

You only have ONE graphics card. On AGP.

Your HDD is A/ By itself and B/ doesnt have SATAII or NCQ

Your PSU does NOT equal the power output of most developing countries

Well Microsoft would suggest a new PC every 6 months, the reason is that Bill is down to his last few billion. My last O/S lasted 5 years, my current O/S XP may get upgraded to XP Pro. But i really am thinking of going to Linux, i do realise that this may upset Bill, but if he lowered his prices then may be people would not decide to use crack copies of MS or go to a FREE O/S like Linux!

Cheers Iain and Ady :) I think this was the first computer forum I signed up to...its good to right back to the start of it all :)

LOL belive it or not, despite my rig, i`m currently rocking an FX5200GPU...on PCI. As long as I dont try gaming, I should be ok :)
