I will be installing a 146GB RAID 5 array into a Windows 2000 domain
controller soon. I would appreciate comments on recommended
partitioning of the drive. System partition size and should the
remainder be kept as one partition or broken down into smaller chunks.
Tnx!

System partition should be around 5~10GB depending on your
utilization. My experience is always allocate more as
once you've run out of space, it'd be trouble.

As for the remainder, I can't give any comments as its all
depending on the senerio.

I was considering a 10GB system partition, Ernest. Thanks for the
confirmation. I will either keep the remainder as one partition or
break it up into 34GB chunks to ease backup.
