24" LCD suggestion?

I am looking into buying a 24" LCD monitor. Sony is practically all
gone. Samsung is pricey. Dell is buggy. Acer AL2423Wdr and BenQ uses AOU
panel. I think I read somewhere that this AOU panel is worth a notice.
How does this 24" AOU panel compare to the Samsung? Thanks.

HP just got back into that size with the LP2465, which
they have priced at ~$800 on their own direct sales site.

I stumbled into it via news reports of the LP3065 (30in).
HP was out of the 23-24in space for a while, having
apparently discontinued the former f2304 and L2335
about a year ago.

I have an f2304, and am satisfied with it (which may
have no bearing on the LP2465, about which I know
nothing, other than it exists).

Since most 24s are 1920x1200, using single-link DVI,
make sure your graphics card can run that res in CVT
mode (reduced blanking interval hack). 1920p is actually
above the original top end of the DVI single-link spec.

The LP3065 requires dual-link, period, unless you
plan to run it well below its native res.

I just got a Dell 24" wide screen, and it works perfectly even on a
two year old system. Wide screen is great; no more scroll bars!

I ordered the Samsung 244T from Dell in 12/15. I am still waiting for it
to be shipped.
