2007: Slide Show Mode Assign Shortcut to specific Slide

In PowerPoint 2007 is it possible to assign a specific key like the
number 2 to the second slide in the slide show? So if I was on any
slide in the presentation and I hit the 2 key it would jump to the 2nd
slide.

You're so close! press 2 then enter :)

For more keyboard shortcuts press F1 when in slide show mode.
