2005 Upgrade Problem

I upgraded from .Net 2003 to 2005. I already had .net 2003.....and Office
2003 installed. So I proceeded to upgrade to 2005 by installing .net 2005
and then reinstalling 2003 Office. When I do this, I cannot open an Excel
Workbook template in VSTO.....It say Project Cannot be Opened. Can someone
assist here?

You should not have had to reinstall Office 2003. I have VS6, VS2002, VS2003 & VS2005 Beta2 and Office 2003 all installed on my
system and so far, (crosses fingers) no problems. Sorry I cannot offer you a sure way to fix your problem. You may have to go
back and reinstall VS2003 and Office 2003, then reinstall VS2005Beta( I'm assuming you are using Beta2). That "should" work.
But, it is never a good idea to install a Beta to a system you cannot afford the potential loss of data or having to reinstall
your entire OS and other software. And as always, do a backup, BEFORE installing anything. (at least set a restore point).
