2003 vs 2007

In Access 2003 if you changed the name of table it updated the queries
automattically that were associated with that table. Today I changed the
name of a table in Access 2007 and the query did not update with the new
table name.

1. Is this a problem with my version of Access or is it MS idea of a new
feature?

2. If they are taking this functionality out, why would they do it?

Thanks,
Scott

Check to see if your "Track name Autocorrect Info" is checked in A2007. You
can get there from the Application Icon in the upper left corner.

Personally, I turn this feature off in my applications as I've had trouble
with it since A2000. Perhaps it's better now, but I don't trust it. I use
a utility called "Find and Replace" by Rick Fisher
(http://www.rickworld.com/download.html) which I much prefer. Don't know if
there's a 2007 version yet.
