2003 Fax has inserting junk characters instead of Tif

Basically my 2003 server which has Fax console, has decided it does not like
sending me faxes anymore. It used to attach Tifs. Now it seems to embed them
as characters such as this. See below. What may have caused this and how do
I fix it., Regards

When I say sending faxes. I really mean that the inbound faxes that are
recieved in, whci then in turn get routed via e-mail automatically.

If however you manually right click in the fax console and send bt mail they
come through OK. Its only the automatic process which inserts the junk
characters and not the tif attachment.

You can also view them OK in the fax console on the server.

I am assuming that inbound routing of received faxes used to work some time
before and suddenly stopped working. Did you install/upgrade any mail client
during this time? If it is not important, you may try uninstalling the mail
client and see if the scenario works.
